ABLE services for Children

The ABLEities Foundation believes that every child is ABLE and strives to be a change agent in the field of Special Education.  We focus on what a child CAN do, and not on their disability or what they can't do.  Our organization's co-founders and staff members are trained and certified in a variety of fields, allowing us to provide high-quality services to children of all ABLEities.

Social and Play Skills Groups

Our “ABLE Allstar” Social and Play Skills groups are one-of-a-kind. We provide a small student-to-teacher ratio, with differentiated groupings to meet the needs of children of all abilities. Highly qualified professionals deliver social skills instruction through a variety of play and game activities.

Speech and Language Therapy

Speech and language services are provided in the home and focus on development of expressive and receptive skills, speech sound production, auditory training, acquisition of American Sign Language, and usage of Alternative and Augmentative Communication Devices (AAC).

One-on-One Instruction

One-on-one instruction is for learners who need more direct teaching and support in specific areas. Differentiated instruction is provided by certified teachers. Our professionals utilize evidence-based teaching strategies to meet the needs of all of our learners.

Deaf/Hard of Hearing Services

We ensure that all of our programs and services are accessABLE to all of our learners. Both co-founders of The ABLEities Foundation are fluent in American Sign Language and are able to provide all of ABLE’s services in ASL, including social skills groups, in-home consultation and speech language therapy.
